In Fukuoka, there are several membership-based clubs and organizations aimed at facilitating interaction and information exchange among foreigners, providing daily life support, hosting parties, and organizing volunteer activities. Japan-America Society of Fukuoka

The Japan-America Society of Fukuoka promotes friendship and understanding between Japan and the United States. It organizes lectures, networking events, and other goodwill activities to encourage cultural exchange.

Fukuoka City International Foundation

Established to commemorate the success of the Asia-Pacific Expo Fukuoka '89, this public interest foundation promotes international exchange by utilizing Fukuoka's history, culture, and other regional characteristics. It aims to create a multicultural society based on mutual international understanding. The Fukuoka International Center also offers multilingual consultations and information services for foreign residents.

Canada-Japan Friendship Association

Founded in 1948 to promote friendship between Canada and Japan and to advocate for world peace, the CJFA began by supporting Japanese Canadians. Today, it promotes multicultural exchange and international understanding through homestays in Canada, school visits, and other friendship initiatives.

Fukuoka International Exchange Foundation (FIEF)

This public interest foundation was established in 1989. It promotes international exchange by leveraging Fukuoka's unique geographical and historical characteristics. The center encourages relationships with countries and regions around the world, including Fukuoka's sister cities and overseas communities. Located in ACROS Fukuoka, it offers international information, consultation services for foreign residents, and provides a space for interaction between locals and foreigners.
