Opened in 1984 by the city of Nagoya, the Nagoya International Center serves as the central hub for international exchange in the Nagoya area. It provides various services such as information and support activities to ensure that international residents in the city can live comfortably and that citizens can engage in internationalization at the community level.
This association provides multilingual support for foreigners in Aichi Prefecture, offering information and materials related to international exchange. It also features a library corner and foreign newspapers and magazines, in addition to offering Japanese language classes.

Started in 1991, this annual charity event is hosted by the international community in the Chubu region. Co-organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) Chubu Chapter and Nagoya International School, the Walkathon aims to raise funds as a way to give back to the local community, and also serves as an opportunity for interaction between foreign and Japanese communities.
The ACCJ Chubu Chapter serves as an important base for companies operating in the international business community, including the U.S., and plays a key role in the business development of Nagoya. The chapter is composed of many entrepreneurs, and corporate members in industries such as aerospace, automotive manufacturing, and heavy industry contribute to the regional business revitalization.
