The facility provides technical training for trainees from overseas, Japanese language and culture classes, international training for corporate personnel, and support for NGO activities.

Founded in July 1988, the Hiroshima Canada Association promotes friendship and goodwill at the citizen level. The association organizes various annual events to deepen ties with Canadian citizens, introduces Canadian culture, collaborates with the Canadian Embassy, and participates in sister-city activities with Montreal. It also hosts home stays and facilitates visits to Canada.
