Expat Communities in Okinawa

Okinawa is home to many membership-based clubs and organizations where foreigners gather to exchange information about living in Japan, socialize, attend parties, and engage in volunteer activities. Many foreigners actively participate in these communities to build connections and enjoy a sense of belonging. Here are some of the international communities in Okinawa, especially those with members who are expatriates living in the region.

Okinawa International Women’s Club

The club aims to promote international friendship through social activities and encourages interest in knowledge, culture, and welfare within the local community. Membership is open year-round to all women residing in Okinawa.
